Maple Leaf Gardens to be gutted?
The Toronto Maple Leafs, who moved from historic Maple Leaf Gardens to the new Air Canada Centre in 1999, have rejected an offer from a minor-league hockey owner to buy the old building and restore it, saying they didn't want the competition.
