Minnesota Public Radio, today, 9 am Central

Quick programming note: I'll be appearing on Minnesota Public Radio today in the 9 to 10 am hour (Central time &mdash that's 10 to 11 Eastern), discussing the Minnesota Vikings stadium situation. Ted Mondale, the state official appointed to lead the push to build a new stadium, will be another guest, so expect fireworks, or at least some heated debate.

Those of you who actually live in Minnesota and listen to old-fashioned radios, I assume you know what channel to turn to. For everyone else, you can listen online here.

This has already been planned months ago.

Zygi Wolf will be announcing his franchise will be moving to Los Angeles within weeks.

The Vikings are an embarrassment to Minnesota.

Minnesota was first--Packer Country--and still is.

That truly is absurd, there were fans of the Red Jackets and the Marines before that and unless your super old or originally from Wisconsin, your a Viking fan. N.Dakota, S.Dakota, Iowa and parts of Canada AND Wisconsin are Viking fans and Gopher fans.Plenty of fan base trust me.

The vikings will get a stadium, and thank god. You will move on to the next losing battle. I respectfully disagree with the anti stadium attitude field of schemes has been pushing. In the end, billionares get subsidies. Just like family farmers, and yes, you. Face it, our economy (sports, agriculture, tech, oil) all get subsidies. Why don't you go and put your effort somewhere that is going to make an actual difference? The states biggest business district (Minneapolis & St. Paul) need the Vikings more than the Vikings need us. Why don't you move to North Dakota or South Dakota. They have cheaper taxes, and you don't have to worry about your money going to a stadium. If you value low taxes then move. Minnesota is a good state and has historically lower unemployment YEAR after YEAR compared to the rest of the country. We can handle a new stadium without general fund monies. If it is funded through a hopitality tax, don't go to that area. If it gets funded through gaming, don't go to the damn casino. Hell, don't go to the games.

Get a life.

Sorry the Vermouth and illegal substance has left me like a Parrot.

I wanted you to get my point , so I typed it several times.

The Vikings are the greatest football team ever to take the field. They sell out every game and last season they were managed well.

Brad Childress should get Coach of the year.

Vikings World Champs 2012.

Mall of America has a field near the amusement section. The Vikings will take field there next season.
