Vikings stadium bill held together by "duct tape"

Apparently even my gloomy assessment of the Minnesota Vikings stadium bill was too upbeat, if today's headlines are any indication:

Vikings stadium bill faces tough road; members of key House committee raise concerns
Vikings stadium bill trips over projections of gaming revenue

The upshot: Legislators are antsy about whether electronic pulltab gambling can really raise $63 million in new revenues, and don't want to proceed unless charitable groups that currently benefit from pulltabs are happy, which currently they're extremely not. One legislator told Minnesota Public Radio that the plan was being held together with "duct tape."

At this point, it's not even clear whether the Vikings bill will make it out of committee. I hate to say I told you so, but...
