Photos of model for proposed Yankees stadium, 6/15/05

Overhead view of proposed
stadium, looking west across River Avenue. Note four-deck structure,
set-back upper deck (leftfield foul pole is nearly 100 feet from fro of
upper deck), and space for massive shopping concourses between facade and
grandstand.

Looking north from Harlem
River. Ballfields at bottom of photo, between Major Deegan Expressway and
river, are part of park space "replacing" Macombs Dam Park, where new
stadium would be built. Yankee Stadium (at center between new stadium and
triangular building) is razed, replaced by softball field and some low
buildings and trees.

View
of new and existing
stadium sites southwest across River Avenue. P's indicate new parking
structures.
